Two Stone Garnet Silver RIng – a coiled silver ring set at each end with a lovely rich red, faceted oval garnet, which was designed by Claire Hartley.
Being a coiled ring there is give in the sizing. Only one ring is now available, which should cover sizes N to P
Claire Hartley, who also designs for major museums, works from her studio on a small island off the West coast of Scotland. She only uses gemstones of excellent quality and the workmanship of the silver jewellery is exceptional.
Garnet, which is the birthstone for January, derives its name from the ancient Greeks as the colour reminded them of the pomegranate seed -‘granatum’. The garnet is thought to improve perseverance and good health.
According to legend, the Garnet prevents depression and protects the wearer from nightmares.
